Smíchov mixes a busy shopping hub around Anděl with quiet residential streets climbing toward Petřín hill. Everything practical is here — a mall, cinemas, night trams in every direction — and the riverbank has beer gardens on pontoons all summer. Rents are fair for how central it is; the blocks right by the train station are scrappier than the rest.
