Elegant avenues, parks and café life

Vinohrady is the neighborhood most exchange students fall in love with: broad tree-lined avenues, Art Nouveau facades and two big parks — Riegrovy sady and Grébovka — for evening picnics. It is calm, very safe and packed with cafés, wine bars and brunch spots. That comfort has a price: rents here are among the highest outside the old center, but the metro A line gets you almost anywhere in minutes.
